Melanie Drake - Voice Coach

Testimonials

Mel's sessions are immensely enjoyable, her open and warm approach is engaging and supportive and she guides you through exercises in a gentle manner. I have seen the results in myself and others in a surprisingly short time. Each time I do the Nadine George Voice Work I find something new in my voice and Mel provides space for exploration, discussion and reflection on this. I have gained a great deal as a performer and teacher through working with her and I always leave a session feeling refreshed and invigorated.

About ten days ago some of the Tightlacers had the privilege of doing a workshop with Mel Drake. I wanted to write about it as soon as it was over, but it's taken a while to settle down in my head. Let me start by saying it was fantastic. Mel's work follows the techniques developed by Nadine George of Voice Studio International. It's amazing stuff.

"I had lessons with Mel which helped me tremendously to pronounce vowels and consonants correctly. Lessons with Mel were interactive and fun with good resources for practice.

What I like most about Mel is that she understands and knows the area I need to improve. I have benefited greatly from her one to one lessons"

Have you been thinking of perfecting your oral skills?

You will get a professional service and learn in a very relaxed and supportive environment. Mel starts from where you are and takes you through stages in order to experience changes in your oral expressions.

As one of her former students, one key I have learnt is to practise what you have been taught. Mel works with you and teaches you how to practise. This is the key to learning, developing or perfecting a skill and of course expert tutoring and guidance is also necessary. This you won't be disappointed with.

You can be assured that you will never regret the joy of knowing that you have not only perfected a skill but also developed your confidence.
